Genvid is delivering a brand new form of entertainment combining the best of traditional storytelling with the immersion and interaction of video games. We call this category Massively Interactive Live Events (MILEs).

Genvid Entertainment is also developing a global, scalable direct-to-consumer platform to publish MILEs via multiple platforms - from web browsers, mobile app stores to game consoles and connected TVs. This will allow us to publish globally and meet consumers on any device, wherever they might be.

As an Events & Marketing Manager you will be tasked with planning and organizing promotional, business and social events. You will be responsible for planning and running a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event and the company brand are marketed properly. You will also be supporting the marketing team on various marketing efforts. This position is covering Maternity leave full time and is 1 year fixed term contract.


  • Direct the overall planning and execution of the company’s presence at gaming and other events.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Leads in order to regularly update the company’s Events Strategy.
  • Coordinate with event organizers on available marketing/sponsorship opportunities and execute agreements with them.
  • Coordinate with our vendors towards procurifying the necessary assets for each event in a timely manner.
  • Organize and host weekly planning and status reports sync calls.
  • Source new vendors if needed based on the needs and decisions from the marketing team when needed.  These can include vendors that offer services in areas such as trade show booth design and construction, social events (venues, catering, etc.), promotional material, printing companies, etc. 
  • Coordinate with the team on each project in order to be fully prepared on time for each event.
  • Work with the Design team in creating visuals for each event.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to evaluate and execute on other marketing opportunities (such as articles, interviews, ads, etc.) in relation to events.
  • Create Post Mortem Reports after each event to evaluate its success. 
  • Organize and host weekly planning and status reports sync calls.
  • Support the Marketing team on various projects focused on other marketing efforts.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years experience in Marketing and Events operations 
  • 3+ years in entertainment, video games, sports, technology, music, etc. 
  • Ability to provide networking, event and marketing strategies
  • Experience with budgeting 
  • Proven experience in problem solving capabilities 

Additional Notes
For New York -based applicants: salary range is $106,000 - $130,000 USD. Other states may have different ranges.
